Bowes Management Services, Inc. (PBMS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Pitney
Bowes Inc. (NYSE: PBI), has just released a white paper that
explains how high
value communications can help organizations meet regulatory
compliance requirements, the tools and processes available to extract
maximum value from these types of communications, and the comprehensive
approach necessary to integrate and manage communications to help ensure
the right information gets to the right person on-time, every time.
The white paper, entitled, “Getting
Maximum Value from High Value Communications: Producing and Distributing
Critical Communications with Greater Accuracy and Lower Cost,”
puts high value communications into three categories: contractual
fulfillment, regulatory compliance, and demand response. It notes that
“these communications are of such a critical nature that they cannot go
to the wrong address, cannot have missing elements, and sometimes, must
achieve near 100 percent response rates.” It warns that “failure to meet
these benchmarks could have serious compliance implications and result
in penalties or revenue shortfalls.”
Today, the tools and processes that have been used in targeted and
database marketing are now being employed in the production and
distribution of high value and critical communications. These tools
facilitate the recipient’s ability to digest and act on information,
make communications more cost-effective, and enable updates to be made
virtually in real time, providing the accuracy demanded with regulatory
compliance.
The white paper outlines ways for organizations to design high
value communications, the importance of taking a comprehensive
approach that integrates and manages communications, and provides
several examples that illustrate various high value communications
applications. To access the white paper click
