UnitedHealth Group to Release New Report on Potential for Technology to Improve Administrative Processes in Health Care and Reduce Costs

UnitedHealth Group will release a new report on how technology and other process changes can save the U.S. health care system billions of dollars by modernizing the administrative approaches currently used by physicians, hospitals and insurers. The report is a companion to the UnitedHealth Center for Health Reform and Modernization’s recent paper that offered policymakers “real-world” options on how to reduce costs and improve the quality of care as they continue to explore legislative solutions to reform our nation’s health care system.
