CALGARY, June 29 /CNW/ - Hodgins Auctioneers Inc. ("Hodgins" or the
"Company") (TSX-V: HA) wishes to announce that at its annual meeting of
Shareholders on June 18, 2009, and subject to regulatory approval, Mr. Clive
Llewellyn, was elected as a Director of the Company. Mr. Llewellyn has been a
partner with the law firm Fleming LLP since 1991 and recently resigned as a
partner but remains with the firm as a contract lawyer. Mr. Llewellyn is a
current and past director of a number of private and public companies. Mr.
Llewellyn holds a Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Western
Ontario, a Masters of Arts (Economics) degree from Lakehead University and a
Bachelor of Arts (honours) degree from the University of Western Ontario. He
is a member of the Law Society of Alberta.
Hodgins also wishes to announce that Mr. David Farrell did not stand for
re-election at the annual meeting. Mr. Farrell has served as a Director since
June 2004 and the Company has greatly benefited from his guidance and
experience. The Company wishes to thank Mr. Farrell for his time and efforts
on behalf of the Company and wishes him success in his future endeavors.
