Office Depot Introduces New Full Range of Office Chairs

New Assortment Features Entry-Level Chairs, Ergonomic and Fashion-Forward Seating, and Intense-Use Professional Line

Office Depot (NYSE: ODP), a leading global provider of office products and services, today announced the introduction of a new assortment of chairs, branded “RealSpace,” designed for business professionals. The new line is geared toward today’s professional who require function, comfort and style at affordable pricing.

Office Depot is showcasing its new assortment of “seating” products by introducing three distinct categories, helping customers to choose the right chair for their needs. The full range of RealSpace chairs is available at more than 1,100 Office Depot retail store locations in the U.S. and online at www.officedepot.com/furniture. The new categories are:

  • RealSpace Entry-Level: Basic desk chairs for the customer looking for a low cost option and not planning to sit for long periods of time. These redesigned and improved chairs range in price from $49 to approximately $99.
  • Real Space Mid-Level: Office Depot’s mid-level RealSpace line is ideal for medium use and is targeted at professionals looking for a chair that offers a high level of comfort in updated styles that complement any workspace. Chairs within this category feature a range of benefits, including: Quick Assembly; Big and Tall options; and endorsements from the American Chiropractic Association. These chairs are priced between $129 and $249.
  • Real Space Professional: This category of chairs is targeted primarily for business professionals and/or corporate customers anticipating intensive use of their chairs. These chairs are multi-functional, durable, ergonomic and ideal for professionals sitting eight or more hours a day. The chairs within the Professional category are priced from $179 to $350.
