Quality Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: QSII) announced today that its QSI Dental
Division Vice President Kathleen Noll has been named to serve as
chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the National Dental EDI Council
(NDEDIC). NDEDIC is a non-profit organization that brings together all
stakeholders in promoting the value and increasing the utilization of
electronic commerce within the dental industry.
In this elected, two-year volunteer position, Noll will be responsible
for maintaining open communication and cooperation by managing the Board
of Trustees, which includes keeping the Board organized while managing
the decision-making process; overseeing long-range planning processes,
goals and implementation; leading the Board’s activities and acting as a
facilitator; appointing committee chairpersons as needed for focused
tasks and ensuring Board discipline.
“I am pleased to serve in this role with NDEDIC and look forward to
assisting in the fostering of e-commerce throughout the dental industry.
This continues to be such a significant undertaking and NDEDIC is an
important component of this diverse industry. I hope that we can take
the organization to the next level during my tenure as chairperson as I
strive to work closely with the Board of Trustees and Committees to
pursue those opportunities that will take us closer to these goals,”
Noll said.
“I have known Kathleen for more than 20 years, and believe that the
expertise she has garnered within the dental software arena will bode
well for her new role with NDEDIC and the contributions she will make
toward furthering the organization and its mission. In addition, the
knowledge she gains in this role will benefit QSI as it continues to
strengthen its EDI offerings,” said Donn Neufeld, senior vice president
and general manager of the QSI Dental Division.
Quality Systems has been a member of NDEDIC since 2000 (Noll has been
one since 2007).
NDEDIC’s mission is to unite all stakeholders in advancing the value and
utilization of electronic connectivity in the dental community. It is
the only organization that brings together all stakeholders
industry-wide to promote electronic commerce while providing a forum for
dental EDI (Electronic Data Interchange). NDEDIC offers various
opportunities within dental EDI including those in education and
information.
