Diamond Offshore Drilling, Inc. (NYSE:DO) announced today that it
has named Robert G. Blair to the post of Senior Vice President,
Contracts and Marketing effectively immediately. Most recently, Blair
served as Vice President, Contracts and Marketing, the Americas. Blair
has been with the Company since 1979 when he joined Diamond Offshore’s
predecessor company, Diamond M Company, as Manager, Long Range Planning.
He transferred into marketing in 1981, and has served in posts of
increasing responsibility since that time. Blair holds both BBA and MBA
degrees from the University of Texas at Austin.
