BEIJING, Jul. 2, 2009 (Xinhua News Agency) -- CDC Software, a subsidiary of CDC Corporation (NASDAQ:CHINA) (CHINA.NASDAQ), plans to set up a joint venture with Softrax Corporation, a U.S.-based billing and revenue management solutions provider.
According to the plan, the joint venture will start operation in the third quarter, taking advantages of CDC Software's global customer support and product engineering resources in India and China, as well as Softrax's deep domain and product expertise.
The two parties are expected to share their customer bases, and explore opportunities to embed their technologies into each other's products to facilitate integration.
CDC Software Corporation submitted a registration statement to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for an initial public offering (IPO) to finance 80 million U.S. dollars of Class A Ordinary Shares in May.
