Standard & Poor's Announces Changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index

TORONTO, July 3 /CNW/ - Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index after the close of trading on Friday, July 3, 2009:

-   The shares of Motapa Diamonds Inc. (TSXVN:MTP) will be removed from
    the index following an Arrangement whereby the company's shares have
    been acquired by Lucara Diamonds Corp. (TSXVN:LUC).

Company additions to and deletions from an S&P equity index do not in any way reflect an opinion on the investment merits of the company.
