According to Oman News Agency: Ahmed bin Abdulnabi Macki, Minister of National Economy and Deputy Chairman of the Financial Affairs and Energy Resources Council will head tomorrow (Sunday) for Brunei Darussalam and the People's Republic of China on an official several days visit. During his visit to "Bandar Seri Begawan", he will meet with a number of senior officials at Brunei Darussalam's government to discuss a number of topics related to developing and enhancing economic and investment cooperation fields that aim at finding joint investment and industrial ventures between the government and the private sectors in the two countries. During the visit, Macki will also meet with representatives of the private sector in Brunei to acquaint them with available investment opportunities and potentials in the Sultanate, in addition to, the Sultanate's government's role in availing the investment atmosphere that encourages the foreign investment. Macki's visit to Brunei Darussalam will be followed by a visit to the Chinese city, Shanghai during which he will sign to build four giant tankers for Oman Shipping Company (OSC) besides visiting a number of Chinese industrial companies in construction and transportation fields. During his visit, Macki will be accompanied by an official delegation including Dr. Sheikh Abdulmalik bin Abdullah al Hinai, National Economy Ministry's Undersecretary for Economic Affairs, Eng. Muneer bin Baqir al Mosawi, Secretary General of the Supreme Committee for Town Planning, Khalil bin Abdullah al Khunji, Chairman of Oman Camber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) and a number of officials at the Finance Ministry, National Economy ministries, State's Reserve Fund, Oman Shipping Company (OSC) and Oman Oil Company.
