The U.S. division of Sun Life Financial Inc. (NYSE:SLF, TSX:SLF) today
announced it has won the Better Business Bureau’s 2009 Local Torch Award
for Excellence, marking the company’s fourth consecutive win in the
category for businesses with over 1,000 employees. The award, given by
the BBB serving eastern Massachusetts, Maine, Rhode Island and Vermont,
selected Sun Life based on a number of criteria including its high
standards of excellence toward customers, employees, suppliers,
shareholders and communities in which it conducts business.
