WHAT:

The 2009 Life Time Fitness Torchlight 5K begins just prior to the
start of the annual Torchlight Parade. A portion of the event’s
proceeds go to KS95 for Kids™ benefiting Children's Cancer Research
Fund and Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare. The event is part
of the Minneapolis Aquatennial, a ten-day premier Twin Cities civic
celebration that upholds a 70-year community tradition and hosts
more than 800,000 visitors.

WHERE:

|
Registration and race number pick-up will occur at the Basilica of
St. Mary (88 North 17 St.) in downtown Minneapolis. The race will
start at Hennepin Avenue at 12th Street and end in front
of St. Anthony Main (219 S.E. Main St.) An exclusive post-race party
will take place at the Nicollet Island Pavilion (40 Power Street)
and include live music, prizes and refreshments for race
participants.

REGISTRATION:

Race registration will occur in the parking lot behind the Basilica
of Saint Mary at 88 North 17 St. in Minneapolis. The race day entry
fee is $25 (17 & under) and $35 (adults).

AWARDS:
|
|
Awards will be given to the top three overall male and female
finishers.
|
|
|
