Company flies high on way to goal of 1,000 restaurants nationwide
Buffalo Wild Wings®, Inc. (NASDAQ: BWLD), the national sports grill and
bar chain known for its award-winning Buffalo, NY-style chicken wings
spun in one of 14 signature sauces, today announced the opening of its
600th restaurant nationwide, a company-owned location in
Wilson, North Carolina. This milestone marks the 14th Buffalo
Wild Wings location for the state of North Carolina.

Buffalo Wild Wings first opened its doors in 1982 in Columbus, Ohio near
The Ohio State University campus. The Company was founded by Scott
Lowery and Jim Disbrow. When the two friends couldn’t find the Buffalo,
NY-style chicken wings they were craving in Ohio they began making their
own – and a national restaurant chain took flight. The Company began
trading on NASDAQ in November 2003.
To celebrate the 600th milestone, the Wilson Buffalo Wild
Wings will award the first 100 guests through the door “Free Wings for a
Year” and for the 600th guest on each of the following six
days. The “Free Wings for a Year” promotion provides guests with a
coupon book that offers vouchers for an order of six wings for each week
of the calendar year. Additional prize giveaways will also take place at
the Wilson Buffalo Wild Wings throughout the week of July 20th
including a $600 Buffalo Wild Wings gift card to the 600th
guest, autographed Steve Smith jersey, Julius Peppers helmet, Kurt Busch
memorabilia and more.
