Piper Jaffray & Co. further strengthened its public finance banking
presence in Colorado with the addition of David Bell as Managing
Director, public finance. Bell, who specializes in municipal financings,
will be based in Denver, CO, and will work with the firm’s existing
public finance team.
With more than 20 years of investment banking experience, Bell joins
Piper Jaffray from Stifel Nicolaus, where he worked as a senior banker
specializing in structuring and underwriting bond transactions. Bell has
a significant base of experience and relationships with diverse clients
ranging from school districts to general governmental issuers.

expertise that will deepen our market presence with Colorado issuers,"
said Frank Fairman, head of public finance services.
Bell earned a bachelor's and a master's degree in business
administration from the University of Northern Colorado.
