Level 3 to Deliver Services Throughout Its National Footprint
Level 3 Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ: LVLT) today announced that it has
been selected by GLOBALINX® to deliver voice and calling name
(CNAM) services throughout Level 3’s national footprint. GLOBALINX is a
provider of voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) services to wholesale,
commercial and residential customers.
Under the terms of the agreement, Level 3 will provide GLOBALINX with
Level 3’s enhanced local service, including local voice, directory
listing and CNAM capabilities (the CNAM service displays the caller's
name and number on the receiving party's digital readout), and domestic
and international voice-termination services.
