Pizza Hut to Make Deliveries of THE EDGE(TM) Pizza to the Locations on the Edge

DALLAS, July 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Pizza Hut is challenging its first-ever summer "Twintern" to think outside of the box...all the way to the edge. Alexa Robinson - the Pizza Hut "Twintern," who diligently keeps up with Pizza Hut fans through @pizzahut on Twitter -- is now being charged with delivering THE EDGE Pizza, the Pizza Hut pizza with toppings from one edge to the other, to some of the locations "on the edge" in America. It's up to you to tell her where to go.

Pizza Hut invites consumers to tweet or email locations "on the edge" for a chance to win a Pizza Hut pizza party at that edge locale. Whether you're camped out at the edge of the Grand Canyon, at the edge of the country for a family reunion or on the edge at your summer job, let the Twintern know why she should join you and if you're one of the lucky winners, Pizza Hut will send her on her way.

"We're asking our fans to send our Twintern to 'the edge' to deliver our THE EDGE Pizza," said Bob Kraut, Pizza Hut's Vice President of Marketing Communications. "Then we're going to put Alexa to the test by selecting the 'edgiest' locations to have her make the deliveries."

How to Enter for a Chance to Win

Tell Pizza Hut where you'd like to challenge the Twintern to make a delivery. Tweet your idea to @pizzahut on Twitter in 140 characters or less and include the hashtag #twintern or #edge in your Tweet, or send an email that is 140 characters or less to twintern@pizzahut.com. Entries will be judged on originality and "edginess" (see Official Rules at www.pizzahut.com/newsroom.aspx). The edgiest places will be selected by Alexa and the team at Pizza Hut. Pizza Hut will accept entries July 23 - August 11, 2009. Winners will be notified by direct message on Twitter or via email on or by August 18, 2009.

The Prize

Winners will receive THE EDGE Pizza hand-delivered by Alexa at the winning locations. Five winners will be named and each will receive a pizza party for friends and family valued at $250.
