of Catherine (Cathy) Matthes, as senior director of new business
development. Matthes will report directly to Michele Fite, vice president
of global strategy and marketing, specialty business, and new business
development at Solae.

In her role, Matthes will be responsible for establishing business
development strategies and preparing plans to implement. She will advise

In addition, Matthes will lead and build the new business development team
as well as cross-functional company teams.

Matthes comes to Solae with more than 20 years of business and financial

developing targeted imaging agents and chemotherapeutics for the detection
and treatment of cancer. Matthes has been very involved in the St. Louis
community as a board member for SSDN and Fibrodysplasia Ossificans
Progressiva Midwest, as well as board member and financial advisor to a
Colorado-based condominium association. In 2006, she was the recipient of
the St. Louis Most Influential Business Women award by the St. Louis
Business Journal.
