Twenty-two-year IT Industry Veteran Rejoins Avnet to Focus on Growing
Sales of Solutions That Incorporate Software, Security, Storage,
Networking and Mobility Offerings

today announced that Scott Look has joined the senior management team of
its Technology Infrastructure Solutions (TIS) group in the Americas. As
vice president of TIS sales, Look will be responsible for managing field
sales teams across the United States and Canada to profitably drive
solutions business growth for Avnet and its value-added reseller
partners.

A 22-year veteran of the IT industry in the channel, Look joins Avnet
from Ingram Micro, Inc., where he launched the company’s Infrastructure
Technology Solutions Division in 2007. Prior to this position, Look had
a distinguished career at Avnet spanning 13 years. He began as a sales
manager in 1994 and rose to the position of vice president. Prior to his
departure he was focused on leading Avnet’s U.S. EMC business from 2005
to 2007. In this position, he increased the revenue of Avnet’s top EMC
partners and doubled Avnet’s EMC revenues in two years. Before joining
Avnet, Look held various sales and sales management positions at
value-added reseller Insight Enterprises.
