Corp. (NYSE: MWV) today announced Julia Amadio has joined the
company as the new vice president of global marketing for MWV
Healthcare, effective June 15. Ms. Amadio brings to the position
nearly 30 years of commercial leadership and marketing experience in the
pharmaceutical industry.
In her role, Ms. Amadio will oversee marketing and commercialization for
MWV’s growing portfolio of OTC and pharmaceutical packaging solutions,
including MWV’s successful adherence and compliance product lines. She
will also be responsible for driving growth opportunities in emerging
global pharmaceutical markets like India and China.

expansion of our adherence packaging solutions pipeline, new business
models, our growing presence in emerging markets, and ongoing consumer

Ms. Amadio comes from JMA Consulting, a company she founded, where she
conducted commercial assessments and developed marketing and
distribution strategies for various U.S.-based and international
clients. Ms. Amadio previously held marketing and management positions
with Parexel MMS, Patients’ & Consumers’ Pharma, Daiichi Pharmaceutical
Corporation, Aventis Pharmaceuticals, Wyeth Pharmaceuticals and McNeil
Pharmaceutical.
Ms. Amadio holds a Masters of Business Administration from Drexel
University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from St. Joseph’s
University in Philadelphia, PA. She is the global director-at-large of
the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA). Ms. Amadio has served
on various boards and committees throughout her professional career.
