Corporation (NASDAQ: LOCM), a leading local search site and network,
today announced the appointment of Michael Plonski as its chief
technology officer.

Plonski has over 15 years of corporate technology management experience
and has held several senior executive positions in a number of publicly
traded and privately held global technology companies. Most recently
Plonski served as the SVP/chief information officer & chief operating
officer, digital for Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia. Plonski led the
company’s technology organization and initiatives and was responsible
for reconstructing the company’s technology infrastructure.
Prior to Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, Plonski held dual
responsibilities at the Tribune Company as vice president/Tribune
Information Systems (TIS) and vice president/chief technology officer
for Tribune Interactive (TI). At Tribune Interactive, Plonski
spearheaded the development and deployment of “Oxygen,” the common
content, publishing and advertising platform that powers all of the
Tribune websites. Plonski holds a Bachelors of Science degree in
mechanical engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
