sales partnership strategies
F5
Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: FFIV), the global leader in Application
Delivery Networking (ADN), today announced that Dean Darwin has been
promoted to the newly created position of VP of Worldwide Channel Sales.
Previously, Darwin had served as VP of North American Channel Sales.
“We’re very excited that Dean will be leading our global channel teams
in this new role,” said Mark Anderson, SVP of Worldwide Sales at F5.
“Dean has done a remarkable job leading and expanding our channel
efforts in North America. In this new position, his charter will be to
leverage the great work that has been done in each region, and align
F5’s global efforts around best practices to engage our worldwide
network of sales partners. Having worked closely with Dean for the
better part of the last 10 years, I’m highly confident in his ability,
and look forward to developing and enhancing F5’s partnership strategies
with him.”
Darwin first joined F5 Networks in 2005. As a key driver of the North
America channel program, he has been instrumental in the introduction
and success of a number of channel initiatives including the Advantage
Partner Program and, most recently, the F5®

Chief by CRN. Prior to joining F5, Darwin held sales leadership
positions at Cisco and NetApp.
“With this appointment, F5 has reinforced its commitment to providing
