Contract Has Maximum Value of $25 Million to URS
URS Corporation (NYSE:URS) today announced that it has been selected to
provide program management, engineering, technical, information
technology, training, and logistics support systems services to the
Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division (NSWC Crane) in Crane,
Indiana. The contract, which includes a 2-year base period followed by
3, 1-year options, has a maximum value of $25 million to URS, if all
options are exercised. URS has been performing engineering and technical
services at NSWC Crane since May 1998.
Commenting on the contract award, Randall A. Wotring, President of the
