Partner Communications Company Ltd. ("Partner" or "the Company")
(Nasdaq:PTNR)(TASE:PTNR),
a leading Israeli mobile communications operator, announces that the
Company was notified by the Civil Administration in Judea and Samaria
("the Administration") of its intention to implement a change in the
allocation of some of the frequency bands previously allocated to the
Company under its general license for the provision of cellular services
in Judea and Samaria.
The Administration clarified that once such a change will be
implemented, the authorities will consider an allocation of other
frequency bands for the use of the Company in Judea and Samaria as well
as an allocation of additional frequency bands for the use of the
Company in the State of Israel. The Company was requested to submit its
position no later than August 31, 2009.
At this stage, and until the Company receives detailed information with
respect to the allocation of other frequency bands for the Company's use
in Judea and Samaria and with respect to the allocation of additional
frequency bands for the Company's use in the State of Israel, the
Company is unable to evaluate the implications of the intended change on
the Company.
