Euroseas Ltd. Sets Date for the Release of Second Quarter 2009 Results, Conference Call and Webcast

MAROUSSI, ATHENS, GREECE -- (Marketwire) -- 08/05/09 -- Euroseas Ltd. (NASDAQ: ESEA), owner and operator of drybulk carriers and container vessels and provider of seaborne transportation for drybulk and containerized cargoes, announced today that it will release its second quarter and six month results for the period ended June 30, 2009, on Tuesday, August 11, 2009, after the market closes in New York.

The following day, Wednesday, August 12, 2009, at 10:00 am EDT, the Company's management will host a conference call and webcast to discuss the results.
