to be the first telecommunications company in Canada to provide customers
access to the latest generation of Microsoft Windows Live services using an
MTS email address.
Windows Live is an integrated set of online services that makes it easier
and more fun for customers to communicate and share with the people they care
about most. Windows Live includes email services, as well as several online
and downloadable applications, that allow customers to share photos, save and
share files online, create personal profile pages, plan events through an
online calendar, chat with friends by instant messaging, and much more.

New customers will be able to take advantage of this new service starting
August 17, and existing customers will be contacted by email with directions
on transitioning to Windows Live services starting in October. Once the
customer completes the transition, their existing emails and content in the
customer's current MTS Webmail online account will be transferred to their new
Windows Live account all within a few minutes. With only one login ID and
password, users of Windows Live services now have access to other great
Microsoft Windows Live applications in one easy-to-remember location. Windows
Live helps users synchronize their digital life and stay connected with what
matters to them online.
