NYSE:

Citigroup Inc., down 25 cents to $3.69

The bank approved $6 billion in new lending initiatives in the second quarter as part of its programs supported by government bailout funds.

Yum Brands Inc., down $1.40 at $35.13

An analyst downgraded KFCs parent company on its soft U.S. sales and predicted it will report a third-quarter same-store sales decline.

Sprint Nextel Corp., down 16 cents at $3.55

The wireless carrier priced a $1.3 billion public offering of senior notes due 2017 and said proceeds will go toward general corporate purposes.

Pulte Homes Inc., up 4 cents at $12.32

The Michigan-based homebuilder said it will buy up to $1.5 billion in debt in connection with its planned purchase of rival Centex.

Lions Gate Entertainment Corp., down 15 cents at $6.31

The movie studio beat analysts expectations with an increase in its first-quarter profit, driven by strong results from Mandate Pictures.

NASDAQ

PetSmart Inc., down 83 cents at $21.93

An analyst downgraded the pet supplies retailer on a high stock price and said investments will take longer than expected to yield results.

Petroleum Development Corp., down $3.81 at $13.42

The oil and natural gas driller announced a public offering of 3.8 million shares in which it is expected to receive $50 million to $70 million.

Penn National Gaming Inc., down 63 cents at $31.98

The casino operator said a private offering of $325 million senior subordinated notes due 2019 was priced at par.
