"CIBER was a great partner to implement our changeover to an SAP solution-based system," said Durand Rall, CEO of Omnitrans. "Omnitrans considers this to be one of the most successful enterprise applications ever rolled out for our organization. Due to the current economic climate, Omnitrans has experienced an increase in ridership. This implementation has allowed us to better serve our passengers."

CIBER's implementation reduced Omnitrans' administrative costs, and streamlined their business processes. CIBER has extensive experience in the transit and transportation industries which allowed CIBER to deploy senior resources to this project. These resources were able to achieve substantial amounts of work in a limited time frame resulting in ample time and cost savings for Omnitrans.

"CIBER's nationwide expertise in the transportation industry only reinforced our partnership with Omnitrans and resulted in considerable savings and enhanced efficiency for our client. CIBER's wide-ranging, successful experience implementing SAP applications allowed this project to meet all time frames and complete within budget," explained Tom Augustine, vice president of CIBER's SAP Public Sector Practice. "We look forward to our continued success with Omnitrans in their Phase II implementation."

The $6 million Phase II contract includes implementation of the following SAP applications and services: payroll, plant maintenance, SAP Supplier Relationship Management (SAP SRM) and SAP Modification Assessment service for employee self-service and manager self-service. This new functionality will be added to the finance, human capital management and purchasing functionality that was a part of the original SAP project at Omnitrans. The implementation of these new SAP applications will allow Omnitrans to retire legacy solutions and better manage increased ridership, fleet maintenance and suppliers.
