MAGNUM/SRI UPDATE: Magnum/SRI is looking forward to updating the market with regard to its history-making Next Generation, Custom Rubber Compounds. The process takes scrap rubber tires from the growing tire mountains around the country and converts it into a viable performing raw material able to provide value addition to various applications.
The scrapped tires are first processed into fine rubber powder with fiber and metal separated out allowing for a very high level of purity. This powder is put through our activation process and then compounded before being treated with our proprietary high performance processing aids. The resultant material which has been compounded or formulated to be compatible with specific categories of our customer's virgin compounds can now be blended in their manufacturing process without appreciable loss of properties.
