FAIRFAX, Va. - ICF Resources Inc. said Wednesday that it received two, three-year contracts valued at $34 million to develop and implement energy- efficiency programs for residential and small business customers for two private U.S.-based utilities.
The company said it will design incentive programs and retrofit packages for existing homes and identify strategies for saving energy. It also will help develop incentives and provide marketing support through retailers to encourage consumers to buy lighting, appliances, electronics and other equipment that are more energy efficient.
It did not identify the utilities that awarded the contracts.
Shares of ICF Resources' parent, ICF International Inc., advanced $1.12, or 4.4 percent, to $26.38 in afternoon trading. The shares have traded between $15.51 and $28.75 over the past 52 weeks.
