LOS ANGELES, Aug. 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Infinity Insurance will debut their latest advertising campaign during this afternoon's World Cup Qualifying match between the Mexican and US national teams. Taking a page from the playbooks of Super Bowl advertisers, Infinity sees the Mexico-US match as an opportunity to reach a large audience of ideal customers during what is likely to be one of the most-watched sporting events of the year. When the two teams met in February, the game attracted a record number of viewers on Spanish-language TV.
The company spent an undisclosed amount on production and worked with a top Hispanic director to create the commercials. "We hope the quality of these spots reflects Infinity's commitment to our customers -- honest, hard-working families who deserve better service and lower rates," said Greg Fasking, AVP National Marketing for Infinity. Radio ads will run during the live broadcast of the game with the new TV commercials airing in primetime rebroadcasts in select markets.
While Infinity's commercials may not evoke the antics of Super Bowl advertisers, they are likely the first of many destined to give futbol fans and Hispanic audiences their due. Leading the way is nothing new for Infinity which is already the most recognized auto insurance brand* in top US Latino markets.
