Live hole-by-hole coverage airs Aug. 13 - 16 from Chaska, Minn.
NEW YORK, Aug. 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SIRIUS XM Radio (Nasdaq: SIRI) announced today that it will broadcast the 91st PGA Championship, golf's fourth and final major championship of 2009, this Thursday, Aug. 13, through Sunday, Aug. 16, on XM channel 146 and SIRIUS channel 209 with the "Best of XM" programming package.

SIRIUS XM's live coverage, from Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska, Minn., will feature host Bob Stevens and analyst John Maginnes, with hole-by-hole updates from roving reporters Mark Carnevale, Fred Albers, Larry Rinker and Chuck Garbedian.
On-course coverage will start Thursday and Friday at 10 am ET and Saturday and Sunday at 11 am ET and will continue until the conclusion of each day's play. Play-by-play will immediately be followed by a wrap-up of the day's action on PGA Championship Replay, which will include a recap of the day's action with highlights, analysis and interviews with players. Following Sunday's live coverage, the final three hours of the final round will be rebroadcast from 8 - 11 pm ET.
Hazeltine previously hosted the PGA Championship in 2002, with Rich Beem defeating eventual four-time PGA Champion Tiger Woods by one stroke. Padraig Harrington is the defending champion of the event, having won at Oakland Hills Country Club in Michigan last year. This year's field includes Woods, who is seeking his 15th major championship victory, and Phil Mickelson, winner of the 2005 PGA Championship at Baltusrol.
In addition to the live play-by-play, listeners will hear daily talk and analysis by SIRIUS XM's expert hosts each day of PGA Championship Week.
Chris DiMarco, the runner-up in the 2004 PGA Championship at Whistling Straits in Wisconsin, hosts a new edition of his weekly show, oPINionated. The show, co-hosted by Greg Warmoth, airs today at 11 am ET and again at 11:30 am ET.
Playing Thru, hosted by T.J. Rives, airs live Monday - Friday from 8 - 10 am ET. On Thursday morning, Playing Thru will have bonus play-by-play coverage, including Tiger Woods' opening round.
