The results of Restaurants & Institutions' Consumers' Choice in Chains study have been announced, naming 39 chain restaurants as the consumer-voted, award-winning chains across thirteen foodservice segments. The winners were honored last night in a ceremony at The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel in Dana Point, Calif.
In the Consumers' Choice in Chains study, conducted by Restaurants & Institutions magazine (www.rimag.com), 3,000 consumers were asked to rate nearly 120 chain restaurants on eight customer-satisfaction attributes: Food quality, menu variety, value, service, atmosphere, cleanliness, reputation and convenience. Winners have been named in thirteen menu categories based on the scores given to each restaurant chain.
"The R&I Consumers' Choice in Chains award is a people's choice award that sends a powerful message to the industry and beyond, for which these restaurants have earned continued business and guest loyalty. The attributes they demonstrate clearly set them apart from others in each segment," said Dan Hogan, Restaurants & Institutions' Publisher.
