Aug. 18, 2009 (Filing Services Canada) -- Armada Data Corporation (ARD - TSX Venture), is pleased to announce the Board of Directors has declared a dividend in the amount of $0.005 per common share payable on September 15, 2009 to all shareholders of record on September 1, 2009.
The dividend, the first in the Company's history, is expected to become an annual dividend. It is also expected that over time, the dividend will increase as revenues and net income rise.
"I am pleased to report that both income and revenue have consistently increased over the past 8 consecutive quarters. The time to reward past shareholders and invite new shareholders with a regular dividend payment is now opportune as Armada's product mix becomes increasingly accepted in the market place" commented Paul Timoteo, President and CFO. "We have achieved sales and income stability to the point where we can now begin to reward share ownership with a regular dividend payment."
