AP Gas Corp at NELP roadshow

Hyderabad, Aug. 21

The newly carved out state-owned AP Gas Infrastructure Corporation interacted with several petroleum majors, including British Gas, at Houston in the US, to explore the possibility of collaboration for oil and gas exploration and production. The Andhra Pradesh Government also announced its foray into oil exploration and production at Houston coinciding with the NELPVIII roadshow. Officials from the State Government, who are touring the US, held parleys with representatives of major oil companies including British Gas, BHP Billiton (OOTC:BHPLF) (NYSE:BHP) , Conoco Philipps, British Petroleum (NYSE:BP) , Noble Energy (NYSE:NBL) for potential partnerships and for bidding new blocks together. They also wanted some of the petroleum majors to consider investments in the Petroleum, Chemical and Petroleum Investment Region (PCPIR) proposed between Vizag and Kakinada corridor.
