Connie Lindsey brings deep industry knowledge, commitment to community

CHICAGO, Aug. 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Northern Trust has named Connie Lindsey as head of Corporate Social Responsibility, a newly created post reporting directly to President and Chief Executive Officer Frederick H. Waddell.

As head of Corporate Social Responsibility, Lindsey will be responsible for the design and implementation of Northern Trust's Corporate Social Responsibility goals, strategy, policies and programs worldwide. Her duties will include oversight of Northern Trust's response to environmental matters and social issues within the marketplace, workplace and community.

As President of the National Board of Girl Scouts of the USA, Lindsey is the organization's highest ranking volunteer, providing senior leadership with guidance in policy, fundraising and management. She also serves on the Joffrey Ballet board and the DePaul School of Education's Advisory Council. Additionally, Lindsey is a member of the Economic Club of Chicago and the Chicago Executives' Club.
