NYSE:

Ford Motor Co., down 33 cents at $7.41

The government's Cash for Clunkers program, which has been a boon for the automaker's car sales, is set to end Monday evening.

Advanced Micro Devices Inc., up 30 cents at $4

The chip maker stands to increase market share, while production levels and sales rise, a Citigroup analyst said, upgrading the stock.

Fannie Mae, up 50 cents at $1.70

Shares of the government-controlled mortgage finance company soared on more than eight times average trading volume. One analyst suggested that retail traders, coming from online brokerages such as Charles Schwab Corp., are driving the trading - not institutional investors.

Hartford Financial Services Group Inc., up 49 cents at $21.05

Amid gains in many financial stocks, the life insurer's shares got a boost from a Deutsche Bank analyst who raised his price target.

Valeant Pharmaceuticals International, down $2.32 at $24.85

A clinical trial showed the drugmaker's shingles pain reliever candidate, retigabine, couldn't beat a placebo at reducing pain.

Charlotte Russe Holding Inc., up $3.57 at $17.36

After searching publicly since January for a buyer, the women's apparel retailer said a private equity firm was acquiring it for $380 million.

Warner Chilcott Ltd., up $4.35 at $20.41

Buying Procter & Gamble Co.'s prescription drug unit, for $3.1 billion, will more than triple the Irish drugmaker's sales.

Smith & Wesson Holding Corp., down 43 cents at $5.46

Sales of U.S. firearms are likely to drop in 2009 after surging following the national election last November, a Wedbust Morgan analyst said.
