--Ronald A. Lloyd, associate financial advisor, joined the Greensburg practice of Timothy M. Henry, financial advisor of Ameriprise Financial Services Inc.

Legal

--Julie I. Kline and Kenneth C. Thiess joined Metz Lewis LLC as members. Kline focuses her practice on corporate and business representation and estate planning and administration. Thiess focuses his practice in banking law, corporate and business transactions, and trust and estate administration.

--Scott Williams rejoined Keevican Weiss Bauerle & Hirsch LLC. His practice is concentrated in buying and selling businesses, bank lending and regulatory matters, business finance and commercial transactions.

Other

--Valerie Golik, an adjunct assistant professor at Point Park University, Keri Harmicar, marketing & outreach manager for LIFE Pittsburgh, and Carol Wolicki, director of marketing for Ennect, a division of Elliance Inc., joined the Pittsburgh AIDS Task Force board of directors and serve on the board's communications committee. The task force hired Erin O'Quinn as a case manager, Susan Orr as communications liaison and Ronald Smutny as development associate.

Awards

--Cynthia Baldwin, a partner in the law firm Duane Morris LLP, Pittsburgh, received the Women Who Make a Difference Award from the International Women's Forum. A former justice of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, Baldwin is the first African-American woman to be elected a judge of the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas.
