(NYSE: PAR), the leading global provider of utility storage, announced
today the appointment of Vaughan Woods as Regional Director of Asia Pacific
Sales. In this role, Woods oversees 3PAR's Asia Pacific Sales organization
and is responsible for overall sales execution and customer satisfaction in
the APAC region. Woods joined 3PAR to lead the company's efforts to grow
its revenues, customer base, and sales organization in APAC. He reports to
3PAR's Regional Vice President of International Sales, Tim Pitcher.
As reflected by Woods' appointment, 3PAR views success in APAC as critical
to the company's business agenda. Many of 3PAR's global customers such as
Credit Suisse, Savvis, and Research International are expanding their
presence in these markets and consolidating their businesses in countries
throughout the region. 3PAR's APAC headquarters are located in Singapore
and the company is represented in other locations throughout APAC via a
network of 3PAR channel partners. The company has stated plans to invest
further in APAC sales as its business grows.

Vaughan has a background in mission-critical infrastructure and application
software across Asia Pacific. Woods joined 3PAR from Misys, where he served
as Regional Sales Director. In this role, he developed relationships with
key decision makers in the Asia banking market, established a pipeline in
emerging Indo-Chinese markets, and drove higher customer satisfaction in
key territories. Prior to Misys, Woods worked at Collabnet as Regional Vice
President for Asia Pacific, where he established teams and key reference
accounts in Japan, India, China, and Korea. Woods also served at IBM as
Director of Rational Software for Asia Pacific.
