TIBCO Unveils Industry's First Enterprise Platform That Integrates Machine Intelligence With Master Data Management, Leveraging Netrics Software

(NASDAQ: TIBX), today announced the general availability of TIBCO Collaborative Information Manager(TM) version 7.2.1 -- the first enterprise master data management (MDM) platform to provide out-of-the box functionality that offers customers powerful new tools to address their data integrity challenges using machine intelligence.

TIBCO has integrated Netrics' mathematical, algorithmic-based matching engine with its flagship TIBCO Collaborative Information Manger product. The new version of TIBCO Collaborative Information Manager enables faster and more accurate data cleansing with fewer errors, minimizing the burden placed on the business user. The integrated offering considerably improves the finding of duplicate records in very large data sets through advanced mathematical modeling of human similarity. This approach to advanced data cleansing ensures a high degree of accuracy across many different data types such as customers, products, vendors, locations etc.

Additionally, TIBCO Collaborative Information Manager offers the opportunity for lower upfront implementation time and costs and an overall lower total cost of ownership due to the fact that customers will no longer have to spend the time and money to develop and maintain rules, which is a requirement of the traditional rules-based approach to de-duplication.
