Tibco Software, a provider of business integration and process management software solutions, has launched version 7.2.1 of Tibco Collaborative Information Manager, an enterprise master data management platform, to provide functionality that offers customers new tools to address their data integrity challenges using machine intelligence.
According to Tibco, it has integrated mathematical, algorithmic-based matching engine from Netrics, a provider of enterprise data quality and search software, with its Tibco Collaborative Information Manger product.
Tibco has also said that its Tibco Collaborative Information Manager offers the opportunity for lower upfront implementation time and costs and an overall lower total cost of ownership due to the fact that customers will no longer have to spend the time and money to develop and maintain rules, which is a requirement of the traditional rules-based approach to de-duplication.
