Jorge Ryce Named President of U-Haul Company of Western Georgia

COLLEGE PARK, Ga., Aug. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- U-Haul Company of Western Georgia today announced the promotion of Jorge Ryce to president. Ryce brings more than 14 years of U-Haul experience to his new position, where he will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the company, including truck, trailer and storage rentals.

"Jorge has worked a variety of positions over his 14 year career," affirmed Area District Vice President (ADVP) Doug Weston. "I know that with his knowledge and drive he will be very successful as a leader of U-Haul Company of Western Georgia."

Ryce began his U-Haul career in November 1994 as a customer service representative (CSR) for the Northeast Expressway U-Haul Center and was promoted to general manager (GM) two years later. From April 1998 until his promotion to president, Ryce held various managerial positions which included: truck sales manager for the U-Haul Truck Sales Lot, GM of the Jimmy Carter U-Haul Center and the Pleasant Hill U-Haul Center, senior manager, marketing company storage manager (MCSM) and field relief manager (FRM) of U-Haul Company of Central Georgia. Today, Ryce will oversee U-Haul operations for Western Georgia.
