Val-d'Or, Quebec, September 1, 2009 - Knick Exploration Inc. (TSXV:KNX) (TSX-V: KNX)("Knick Exploration" or "the Company") is pleased to announce that a new gold (OOTC:NEGWF) area has been found on the eastern part its East-West property as a result of further surface sampling in the vicinity of old trench workings circa 1930 (see news release July 29, 2009). Two of the grab samples collected 50 meters apart assayed 10.49 g/t and 8.61 g/t gold. This area will be subject to mechanical stripping, mapping and sampling, starting mid-September.

Drilling Program Continues

The Company has completed 2,774 meters (fourteen holes) of an ongoing program of diamond drilling progressing from west to east on the East-West property, in the Val-d'Or mining camp. Logging and sampling of the drill core is ongoing. Visible gold was seen in drill hole LEO-09-06, an image of which can be viewed on the website at knick.ca/projects/eastwest/.

Malartic West Property - Field Crew Mobilized

A grid consisting of 45 km of cut line has been established on the Malartic West property. The grid will be used for control in the upcoming program of geophysical surveying, geological mapping and sampling, and diamond drilling. Geological field crews have started mapping and sampling on the property, with a focus on locating "Osisko" type gold mineralization.

Expert Laboratory in Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec was used for sample analysis.
