Dyax Corp. (NASDAQ:DYAX), a developer of novel biotherapeutics for unmet medical needs, announced today that two senior executives will be taking on expanded roles reflecting the Company's continued growth and plans for commercialization. Ivana MagovÄeviÄ-Liebisch, appointed to the position of Executive Vice President of Corporate Development and General Counsel, will also oversee Business Development and Corporate Compliance while continuing to supervise Corporate Communications, Investor Relations and Legal. In addition to directing the Company's financial strategy and overseeing Accounting and Finance, George Migausky, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, will also oversee Information Technology and Human Resources.

Ivana MagovÄeviÄ-Liebisch joined Dyax in 2001 as Vice President of Intellectual Property and has served as executive officer since December 2005. During her tenure, Dr. MagovÄeviÄ-Liebisch has played a key role in the growth and strategic direction of the company, including patent and legal activities, managing partnership negotiations, and overseeing corporate communications and investor relations. She holds a doctorate in genetics from Harvard University and a law degree from Suffolk University.
George Migausky joined Dyax as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in August 2008. He brings more than 20 years of experience serving as CFO for various life science and biotechnology companies and leading teams in both small and large organizations. Most recently, Mr. Migausky served as CFO of Wellstat Management Company, a privately-held company responsible for the strategy, business development and operations of an affiliated group of five life science companies. George holds an MBA from Babson College and a BS from Boston College.
