Hundreds of today's most active individual investors are heading once again to New Orleans, for an annual event that has, now in its 35th year, gathered the world's most celebrated and successful experts to share their advice and top recommendations.
This year's event -- being held from October 8-11 at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside -- is no exception, as the 2009 New Orleans Investment Conference features a blockbuster agenda with some of the biggest names in economics, geopolitics and investing.
This year's Conference will include a special "Summit on America's Future" -- an elite panel featuring Karl Rove, Charles Krauthammer, Robert Ringer and Rick Santelli. This panel will give attendees the inside scoop on what's going on in Washington, how the markets will react, and what investors must do to prepare for it.
A big highlight will be a special keynote presentation by Congressman Ron Paul, the Republican Presidential candidate whose grass roots campaign galvanized pro-freedom voters across America.
Attendees will also be treated to a debate between Karl Rove, Doug Casey and Howard Dean representing the conservative, libertarian and liberal views, respectively. This debate should be one of the most enlightening events in the Conference's 35-year history.
Additional faculty who will be represented at the 2009 New Orleans Investment Conference include:
Dr. Marc Faber -- An icon in the world of investments, Dr. Faber's typically controversial and contrarian views have earned him the label of "Dr. Doom." But even his harshest critics must sheepishly admit that he's been unerringly correct in his market forecasts over the past three decades.
Peter Schiff -- After dead-on accurate predictions on the U.S. stock market, economy, real estate, the mortgage meltdown, credit crunch, subprime debacle, commodities, gold and the dollar, all of the nation's major financial media are flocking to hear his latest views.
Robert Ringer -- A three-time No. 1 best-selling author and one of the most eloquent proponents of individual liberty and responsibility in recent history, Robert will reveal what's really going on in Washington, and from where you can expect the next attacks on your freedom to come.
Rick Santelli -- A rising star of the pro-freedom movement, Mr. Santelli will also present his views and predictions at New Orleans 2009. It was Santelli's rant against the government's housing bailout plan on February 19th that sparked national outrage against the federal bailouts and spending binge, and helped ignite the entire "Tea Party" movement.
Charles Krauthammer -- A Pulitzer Prize-winning columnist and the man the Financial Times calls "the most influential commentator in America," Mr.
