WARREN, NJ and SAN DIEGO, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 09/01/09 -- Virgin Mobile USA (NYSE: VM) and LG Mobile Phones have launched LG Rumor2 (TM), adding a new sleekly modern-designed handset to its line-up of stylish, quick messaging and affordable phones for the socially savvy and contract commitment-phobe users. The new [and improved] Rumor2 will retail at $129.99 and is available exclusively at Radio Shack beginning in September. The phone is equipped with a sleek, slide-out full QWERTY keypad that allows users to stay easily connected to their social network. With its sophisticated technology, the LG Rumor2 is also Virgin Mobile's first GPS location-aware phone and will be greatly enhanced by the addition of Virgin Mobile Navigator, a new application that will provide customers with turn-by-turn voice directions and location-based search features to find nearby restaurants and bars, ATMs, gas stations, and many more local points of interest. Virgin Mobile Navigator is powered by Networks in Motion and will be available in later this fall.

The LG Rumor2 supports Virgin Mobile USA's Ultimate Inbox solution for Email and Instant Messaging and is available to our no-contract customers for the first time. On-the-go customers can stay connected through Yahoo!, AOL, Windows Live/Hotmail and Gmail/Google Talk, as well as with IMAP and POP3 email support.
