MISSISSAUGA, ON, Sept. 4 /CNW/ -- Atomic Energy of Canada Limited (AECL) is pleased to announce the following senior management appointments. Effective immediately, Allan Hawryluk is appointed Senior Vice-President, Strategic Contracting, and Jonathan Lundy joins AECL as Senior Vice-President, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary.
In his new role, Mr. Hawryluk will be responsible for major contract negotiations for new build and life extension projects. He will work closely with Marketing and Business Development around deal identification, structure and negotiations, and with Operations in contract management and enforcement. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Hawryluk was AECL's Senior Vice-President, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary.
Jonathan Lundy joins AECL as Senior Vice-President, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary responsible for the company's Legal and Compliance functions. Mr. Lundy was previously CEO of Schneider Power, a developer and operator of renewable power generation facilities. Prior to that, he was President of Power and Generation for Hydrogenics Corporation responsible for divisions in Canada, the U.S., Europe, India and Japan. Mr. Lundy also practiced corporate law with two of Canada's top legal firms.
