- Patrick Prince has been appointed Chief Financial Officer of Garda succeeding Francois Rodrigue, who is leaving Garda on September 15th, to pursue new opportunities.
- Alain Dumont, formerly head of the company's Business Transactional Group, has been appointed Senior Vice President for Strategic Corporate Development for Garda.
- Hugues Trottier, formerly Vice President of Finance for Garda Security in the United States, is promoted to Vice President Finance and Administrative services of Garda Cash Logistics.
- Richard Potvin joins Garda as Vice President, Finance & Control.
As Chief Financial Officer based in Montreal, Mr. Patrick Prince comes to Garda with 25 years' experience in management, operations and finance. For ten years he served as CFO at Air Liquide Canada, Inc., the world's leading manufacturer and distributor of industrial gases, doubling sales and quadrupling profits during that time. He also directly negotiated 20 business acquisitions and served on the company's Board of Directors. Most recently, Mr. Prince was Executive Vice President at Groupe Emballage Induspac, Inc., a manufacturing packaging solutions and products provider, where he was head of the company's packaging solutions division. Earlier in his career, he held auditing management positions at Ernst and Young and KPMG. He is a graduate of HEC-Montreal and a member of l'Ordre des comptables agrees du Quebec.
As Senior Vice President for Strategic Corporate Development based in Pasadena, California, Mr. Alain Dumont will focus on developing and expanding strategic partnerships with clients in the financial institutions sector and with major retailers. Working closely with the US Cash Logistics group and as a key member of the senior management, he will ensure the efficiency of all strategies and initiatives. In his former roles at Garda, he worked on the integration of AT Systems International and has greatly contributed to Garda's growth, specifically as CFO during the company's early years as a publicly-traded corporation on the Toronto Stock Exchange. Mr. Dumont has a Bachelor degree in Business Administration-Accounting from the Universite du Quebec a Montreal and also holds the title of chartered accountant.
As Vice President Finance and Administrative services for Garda Cash Logistics based in Pasadena, California, Mr. Hugues Trottier takes on the overall responsibilities of Garda Cash Logistics finance and administrative services group.
