Re-accreditation demonstrates compliance with industry-established standards for health information processing and exchange

NASHVILLE, Tenn., Sept. 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Emdeon (NYSE: EM), a leading provider of revenue and payment cycle management solutions, today announced it has again achieved full accreditation with the Healthcare Network Accreditation Program (HNAP) from the Electronic Healthcare Network Accreditation Commission (EHNAC). EHNAC's HNAP accreditation recognizes excellence in health data processing and transactions and indicates compliance with industry-established standards and HIPAA regulations. Emdeon and its affiliates have maintained EHNAC accreditation since 2001.

The accreditation is valid through August 13, 2011.
