Sep. 10, 2009 (Business Wire) -- Michael Voss, a nationally-recognized leader in the medical device industry, has joined Vidacare Corporation as the Senior Vice President, Vascular Access Business Unit. As the Senior Vice President, Voss will be responsible for the strategic business growth and management of the EZ-IO Vascular Access System business unit, supervising and directing the continued expansion of the EZ-IO on a global basis.
His nearly 20 years experience in the medical device industry, with an emphasis on vascular access devices, includes most recently serving as Vice President and General Manager of the Vascular Interventions Division at Spectranetics Corporation, where he increased sales more than 23 percent annually in 2008 and launched two new products. He has also held positions with Bard Access Systems, Cordis (a Johnson & Johnson company), and Boston Scientific, to name a few.
He holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and is a graduate of Georgia Southern University. Prior to entering the medical device industry, Voss served as a Captain in the U.S. Army.
