BEIJING, Sep. 10, 2009 (Xinhua News Agency) -- KongZhong Corporation (KONG.NASDAQ), a leading mobile internet company in China, announced on Thursday that it will cooperate with CCTV.com to launch a mobile internet site, wap.CCTV.com.

KongZhong Corporation noted that it will make full use of its industry-leading resources and expertise in providing Chinese mobile internet users access to CCTV's programs.

The new mobile content will provide a wide range of services, including information and pictures, streaming audio/video, and social network services.

Thus far the company has essentially completed the construction of key services based on CCTV's news, entertainment, music, and sports programs.

Wang Leilei, CEO and chairman of KongZhong Corporation, sees the cooperation as an important exploration of the interaction between TV audiences and mobile users.

CCTV.com is a news and entertainment media platform established by China Central Television (CCTV), China's largest national TV network.
