M&G Equity Investment Trust P.L.C. (M&G EIT) announces that it has
today been informed that Prudential plc (NYSE:PUK PR) (NYSE:PUK PRA) (NYSE:PUK) and certain of its
subsidiaries are interested in 91,039,979 M&G EIT Income shares, and
91,734,582 M&G EIT Capital shares, representing 52.99% of the total
voting rights in M&G EIT. 89,734,582 of the said Income shares and
89,734,582 of the said capital shares are held on behalf of M&G ISA
account holders.
